Comparison review
The Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 overall score. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version. Motorola edge is a way older and a little bit thicker device than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, but Motorola managed to build it somewhat lighter anyway.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a more vivid display than Motorola edge, because it has a bit more pixels per display inch, a little bit larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Motorola edge has a much powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
Motorola edge features a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has just 256 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with superior battery lifetime than Motorola edge, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with just a bit better camera than Motorola edge, because although it has a smaller aperture and a much less mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way better video quality and a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs.
