Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than the Moto G7 Plus, getting an 84.2 score against 76.1. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version while Moto G7 Plus has Android 10, providing the user some nice extra features and increased performance. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction is newer than Moto G7 Plus's, although it is a little thicker and noticeably heavier.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a just a bit inferior number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little larger display. Motorola Moto G7 Plus counts with a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features much more storage for games and applications than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video definition, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a much larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has an 83% bigger battery capacity.
