Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy M30's global score of 82.4. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro body is noticeably newer, but incredibly heavier and just a little thicker than Galaxy M30. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the previous 14 version and Galaxy M30 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a more vivid display than Galaxy M30, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy M30 features a much greater performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy M30, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels, a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M30, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh.
