Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note8's general score of 83. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the older 14 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much newer than Galaxy Note8, it is a bit thicker and heavier.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a little bit better display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a lot lower display density, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. Galaxy Note8 features a lot better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot more megapixels back camera, a way larger sensor capturing much better quality photos and videos and a much higher video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
