Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, getting a overall score of 87.4 against 84.2. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is much older than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it's design is noticeably thinner and extremely lighter. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has the previous 5.0 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version.
Galaxy S6 has a very superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a little bit better screen than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a much more MP camera in the back and a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 2550mAh.
