The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S8's 81.7 overall score. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is noticeably newer than the Galaxy S8, it is heavier and somewhat thicker. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2400px resolution and a way worse amount of pixels in each inch of display, it also counts with a bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S8 features a really superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition, a lot more MP back-facing camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.
