Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than Galaxy S8 Active, getting a score of 84.2 against 81.9. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's construction is extremely newer and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy S8 Active's, although it is a little heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a much lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a lot lower display density, it also counts with a bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a much better performing processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photographs, a back camera with a way better 50 megapixels resolution and a lot better video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features much more memory for applications and games than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
