Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1's score of 82.6. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a much newer device than Sony Xperia 1, although it's just a little bit thicker and a lot heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro and the Sony Xperia 1 feature extremely similar displays, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has way darker display and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot better quantity of pixels per display inch.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia 1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Xperia 1 features a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much longer battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures way better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP, a way better 7680x4320 video resolution and a way larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
