Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is slightly better than the Xperia XA2 Plus, getting a score of 84.2 against 78.6. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit heavier than the Xperia XA2 Plus, it's just a bit thinner and also way newer. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the older 14 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia XA2 Plus has a much greater performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better looking screen than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with way more brightness, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit bigger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes a lot better photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a much bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot higher video resolution, a lot more mega pixels camera in the back and a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures and video in low-light environments.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 54% larger battery size.
