Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium's score of 79.8. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a much newer cellphone than the Xperia XZ Premium, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia XZ Premium has a lot better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit sharper display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display and much lower brightness, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot more pixels per inch of screen. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and video, a lot higher video quality, a lot better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a much bigger back camera sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality.
