Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a little bit better than the Xperia Z5, getting an 84.2 score against 77.6. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's body is way newer, but incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xperia Z5. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little bit better display than Xperia Z5, because although it has a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Xperia Z5 features a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional GPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, it also counts with a much better video definition, a back camera with lot more megapixels and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
