Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has an overall score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's overall score of 79.8. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a newer 14 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and improved performance. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a notably newer phone than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although it's heavier and thicker.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a way better pixel density. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory.
