Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting an 84.2 score against 76.1. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro body is noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the TCL 20 Pro 5G. These devices include Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a brighter screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little inferior number of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a bit bigger display. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much greater performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 10 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has better battery lifetime than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots clearer photos and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images in low light environments, it also counts with a lot better video definition, a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a back camera with a better resolution.
