Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12, having an 84.2 score against 78.8. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's design is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi 12's, although it is just a bit thicker and much heavier. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the newer 14 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version, counting with a couple additional features.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a bit worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a little bit larger display and a way brighter screen.
Xiaomi 12 counts with a camera that is just as good as Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's camera, both of them have a 0.64 inches sensor, the same video quality, a F1.9 aperture, a 50 megapixels back facing camera and the same 24 fps video frame rates. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi 12, because it has 512 GB internal memory.
