Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, getting an 84.2 score against 79.6. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's construction is way newer than Xiaomi 12 Pro's, although it's just a bit heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12, giving you a couple additional features.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400px resolution and a lot lower display density, it also counts with way more brightness and a quite larger display. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory. Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and although they both have the same 24 frames per second video frame rate, a F1.9 camera aperture, the same 7680x4320 video definition and a same resolution back camera, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has better battery life than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 4600mAh.
