Comparison review
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a general score of 84.4, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 global score. Even though Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro were released with only 2 months difference, Xiaomi 14 Ultra's body is a little thicker but a bit lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro. Both of these phones work with the same Android 14 OS, so both should count with all the same OS features.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a little sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px, a little more brightness and a greater count of pixels per screen inch. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little longer battery duration than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and videos and worse 24 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality and the same resolution camera, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos.
