Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, with a overall score of 84.2 against 83.3. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is newer than Xiaomi Mi 8, it's thicker and way heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10, so it offers a lot of extra features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a lot better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 10 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a quite worse pixels density, it also counts with much more screen brightness, a little bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 62 percent larger battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back, a lot better 7680x4320 video quality and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photographs.
