Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, with an 84.3 score against 84.2. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 14 OS (Operating System). Even though the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 and the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro were released with only 6 months difference, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 construction is a bit heavier but also much thinner.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 counts with a bit more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because it has a way higher resolution of 2224 x 2488, a little bit more brightness, a just a bit higher display pixel density and a bigger screen.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4's camera is just as good as the camera in Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 has a larger sensor which offers a better image and video quality and a bigger camera aperture for better photos in poorly lited environments, they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rate and a back facing camera with a 50 MP.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4, because it has 256 GB more internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
