Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a general score of 91.5, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the previous 12 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a just a little lighter cellphone than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, but both are equally thin.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a really superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has a little bit lower pixels count in each inch of display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a bit bigger display and a really brighter screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 512 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a better camera than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera, better video frame rate, a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger camera aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
