The Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than Xperia XZ2, having a 79.5 score against 79.1. The Asus ROG Phone 8 body is way newer and thinner than the Xperia XZ2's, but it's also heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little sharper display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a just a little inferior pixels count in each display inch, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bigger display and a way brighter display. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a really longer battery duration than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2, because it has a much higher 7680x4320 video definition, a larger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations, a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way higher quality photos and videos and a camera in the back with a much better 50 megapixels resolution.
