Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone II, with a score of 93.3 against 88. The Xperia 1 III is a newer cellphone, and it is also noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than Asus ROG Phone II. The Sony Xperia 1 III features just a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone II, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Xperia 1 III features just a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone II, because although it has just 256 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB. Asus ROG Phone II counts with a little better performance than Xperia 1 III. Both have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount.
The Asus ROG Phone II captures better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos, slower 60 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller sensor capturing worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Asus ROG Phone II also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
