Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone II, with a overall score of 88.9 against 88. Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a better phone than Asus ROG Phone II, we must note that it is also a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's processor is very similar to the processing unit in Asus ROG Phone II, they have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores.
The Asus ROG Phone II features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a way lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better screen pixels density. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's storage for applications and games is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone II one, they have exactly the same 512 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone II has a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a back facing camera with a much lower 48 mega-pixels resolution, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos, a much smaller sensor providing a lot lower image quality and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone II counts with a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
