The Asus ROG Phone has a global score of 77.1, which is a little bit better than LG V20's 77 score. The Asus ROG Phone body is noticeably newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than LG V20. Asus ROG Phone has a bit superior CPU than LG V20, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster) and 4 GB more RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone features a little sharper display than LG V20, because although it has a much lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a quite lower pixel number per inch in the display, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The LG V20 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors and slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than LG V20, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone counts with better battery life than LG V20, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG V20, giving up a couple specs and features.
