The Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone's overall score of 77.1. Galaxy A8 Star's design is thinner and a little lighter than Asus ROG Phone, even when both were only released 2 months apart. The Asus ROG Phone features a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a little higher count of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Asus ROG Phone has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has 2 GB more RAM.
