Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 has a score of 78.3, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone's global score of 77.1. Xperia XZ1 is an older cellphone than Asus ROG Phone, but it's somewhat thinner and a lot lighter anyway. The Asus ROG Phone features a slightly better display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a bit lower count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
The Asus ROG Phone has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ1, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone has a little faster processing unit than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone features a much longer battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ1 features a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, Xperia XZ1 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes it an easy decision.
