Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4, getting an 80.3 score against 74.2. Google Nexus 6P's body is just a bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone 4, but it's a little bit heavier and was released 2 years before. The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 4 and the Google Nexus 6P both feature extremely similar screens, although the Google Nexus 6P also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2560, a quite larger screen and a better number of pixels per inch of display. The Google Nexus 6P counts with a slightly better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a higher 12.3 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Asus ZenFone 4 features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Google Nexus 6P counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 3450mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 4. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Asus ZenFone 4, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
