Comparison review

Google Pixel XL has a global score of 81.3, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 4's 74.2 overall score. Google Pixel XL's construction is older, somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier than Asus ZenFone 4. Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has a greater number of cores.

Google Pixel XL has a display that is just as good as the screen in Asus ZenFone 4, and although the Google Pixel XL has a greater pixels amount per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution, they both have a display with the same size. The Asus ZenFone 4 features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Google Pixel XL, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The Google Pixel XL counts with a bit better battery life than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size. Google Pixel XL captures just a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Google Pixel XL also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and a camera in the back with a higher resolution.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone 4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Asus ZenFone 4, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
