Google Pixel XL Review

Google Pixel XL is a high quality device released back in the year 2016, provisioned with a very fast 2.15 GHz Quad-Core processor, a huge 5.5-inches screen, a 12.3 megapixels back camera and an 8 mega-pixels front camera.

Google made a really good job making the Google Pixel XL as lightweight as 5.93 oz. Google is offering this cellphone in 3 color options, black, blue and gray. Being just 0.34" thick,this phone is very thin and practical. Although this cellphone is only 6.09" long and 2.98" wide, it is able to fit a a 5.5" screen. This cellphone body design is a mix of Aluminum and Glass .

This cellphone is equipped with a incredible 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD / 2K) 5.5 inches screen, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the screen.

Google decided to design this phone using an extremely powerful 2.15 GHz Quad-Core processor, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro chip and a huge 4 GB of RAM. A great feature of this cellphone is its 128 GB big internal memory and even though it doesn't include an SD card slot, it it is more than enough to store lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without even thinking about how much storage is left.

This device has wi-fi capability (which it can provide to other devices acting as a router or modem), LTE-A (4G) really quick connectivity and also HSPA+ connection type (a lower speed 4G technology) and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The Google Pixel XL works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 12.3 MP back facing camera and an 8 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Its back facing camera lens has a maximum 2 aperture so it can shoot excellent photographs even in poor lighting environments. It is also able to film videos in 3840x2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second, and slow motion videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 240 frames per second (8 times slower than regular videos).

This phone counts with a 3450 mAh inmense Li - Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it. An issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery is not replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to lose its charge, whereas having 3450 mAh you will probably discard this device before that becomes a real problem.

This phone also features a great numbre of cool characteristics as Fingerprint Identification, Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.2 ) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

Google sells the Google Pixel XL for 869 dollars, which is not a good offer for a device this level. The Google Pixel XL is probably the right one for you no matter if you will use it as a social cellphone, want a gaming cellphone, are looking for a work device or want it to take lots of pictures.
