The Motorola Edge 50 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4's 74.2 overall score. The Motorola Edge 50 is a noticeably newer phone than the Asus ZenFone 4, but it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 has an older 14 version while Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Motorola Edge 50 has a slightly better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a bit greater count of pixels in each inch of screen, a higher 1220 x 2712 resolution, a lot brighter display and a larger screen. The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 shoots much better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much better resolution camera in the back.
Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
