Xperia XZ1 has a score of 78.3, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL)'s global score of 74.5. Xperia XZ1 is a a bit thinner and just a bit lighter phone than the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), although both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2246.

Xperia XZ1's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) one, they have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and the same internal storage.
