Comparison review
Xperia 5 is better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, with an 81 score against 72.6. Even though the Xperia 5 is just a little bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, it's a little bit lighter and newer. Xperia 5 has a little more vivid display than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has a little bit better screen pixel density, a slightly higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a little bigger display.
Asus ZenFone 5Q has a little bit better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xperia 5 features a bit superior processing unit than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has a little longer battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3140mAh. The Asus ZenFone 5Q and the Sony Xperia 5 feature really similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a back facing camera with a lot lower 12 megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light situations.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone 5Q. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Asus ZenFone 5Q, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
