Google Pixel 2 has a score of 81.6, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 overall score. Even though the Google Pixel 2 and Asus ZenFone 5z were only released 8 months apart, the Google Pixel 2 design is a bit thicker but lighter. The Asus ZenFone 5z has just a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and a larger screen.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 2, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit better CPU than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has more RAM.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with greater battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 3300mAh battery size. Google Pixel 2 captures much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has a tinier sensor shooting lower quality pictures and slower video frame rate, they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 diafragm aperture.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Google Pixel 2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a great choice.
