Motorola Edge 50 has a global score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z's overall score of 75.3. Motorola Edge 50's construction is a lot newer, but a bit thicker and a little heavier than the Asus ZenFone 5z. Asus ZenFone 5z has a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge 50. Both have 8 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1220 x 2712, a really brighter display, a little bit more pixels per inch in the display and a bit bigger display. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Motorola Edge 50 takes greater photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a much larger sensor taking much higher quality photographs.
Motorola Edge 50 counts with a very superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
