Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A12 is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, having an 80.3 score against 75.3. The Samsung Galaxy A12 body is way newer, but heavier and thicker than the Asus ZenFone 5z. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution and a higher display pixels density. Asus ZenFone 5z has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy A12 has a way better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has lower video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures and video, they both have the same (Full HD) video definition. Galaxy A12 features a very superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 52 percent greater battery size.
