The Sony Xperia XZ1 has a score of 78.3, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's global score of 75.3. Sony Xperia XZ1's design is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone 5z, although they were released only 9 months apart. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a bit better looking display than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and a bigger screen.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has more internal storage capacity.
