Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 global score. The Xperia XZ2 construction is heavier and noticeably thicker than the Asus ZenFone 5z. The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit better display than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch and more brightness.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features a much better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 192 GB more internal memory. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little better processing power than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 takes greater pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a bigger camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3180mAh.
