Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z, with a score of 76.4 against 75.3. The Xiaomi Mi 5s is an older and just a little thicker phone than Asus ZenFone 5z, but Xiaomi could make it lighter anyway. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better display than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density and a bit more display brightness. The Asus ZenFone 5z has much more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory.
The Asus ZenFone 5z has a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s captures much better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Xiaomi Mi 5s is also a lot cheaper, making it an easy decision.
