Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), getting a global score of 78.3 against 77.8. Although the Sony Xperia XZ1 is older than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), it's design is thinner and somewhat lighter. Xperia XZ1 and Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) have quite similar displays, because although the Xperia XZ1 has a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit better screen pixel density.
The Xperia XZ1 features as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and equal 64 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with just a little better processing power than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a back camera with much more megapixels, a bigger aperture for better captures and videos in low light environments, a bigger sensor shooting higher quality pictures and videos and higher video frame rate.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
