Asus ZenFone 7 has a score of 83.9, which is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 50's 81.2 general score. Even though Asus ZenFone 7 is better than the Motorola Edge 50, it must be told that it is also a way older, thicker and much heavier phone. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 7 has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version.
Motorola Edge 50 has a bit sharper screen than Asus ZenFone 7, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a way brighter display, a slightly higher 1220 x 2712 resolution and a bit better pixels density. Asus ZenFone 7 has a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit better camera than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a smaller sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ZenFone 7 also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a way higher 7680x4320 video definition.
Asus ZenFone 7 features a very superior memory to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a battery life that's just as good as Asus ZenFone 7's battery lifetime.
