The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a global score of 85.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A12's overall score of 80.3. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is an a little thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Galaxy A12. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10, providing the user some additional features and performance tweaks.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features a little better processing power than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has more RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a much sharper display than Galaxy A12, because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit larger display.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A12, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 2 TB. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A12, because it has a larger aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited environments, a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality.
Galaxy A12 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip count with quite similar battery durations.
