Asus ROG Phone 5 has a global score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 8's 83 overall score. Asus ROG Phone 5's construction is heavier and thicker than the Asus ZenFone 8. Asus ROG Phone 5's processor is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 8 one, and although the Asus ROG Phone 5 has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a little more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, less brightness and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 7680x4320 video definition, a same size camera sensor and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has faster 30 fps video frame rates.
Asus ROG Phone 5's memory capacity for applications and games is very similar to Asus ZenFone 8's one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a really longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 50 percent more battery size.
