The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has an overall score of 84.2, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's general score of 83. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version and Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 8, but it is heavier.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit sharper display than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a just a little lower display density, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a lot brighter display and a bigger display. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a much faster processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 512 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh. Asus ZenFone 8 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality images and videos, and they both have the same 7680x4320 video resolution and the same 24 frames per second video frame rates, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in low light situations and a much more mega pixels back camera.
