Asus ZenFone 8 is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone AR, with a overall score of 83 against 77.4. The Asus ZenFone 8 body has the same thickness than Asus ZenFone AR, but it's just a little lighter. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a greater number of faster cores.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit sharper display than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a just a bit worse screen pixels density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a quite larger display. Asus ZenFone AR has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The Asus ZenFone 8 features superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
