Asus ZenFone 8 is a bit better than OnePlus 9 Pro, getting a global score of 83 against 76.6. Both phones in this comparison work with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Even though Asus ZenFone 8 and OnePlus 9 Pro were released only a couple of months apart, the Asus ZenFone 8 design is lighter but a little thicker.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little more vivid screen than OnePlus 9 Pro, although it has a little smaller screen, a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Asus ZenFone 8 and OnePlus 9 Pro feature similar memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
OnePlus 9 Pro's CPU is just as good as Asus ZenFone 8's processor, and although the OnePlus 9 Pro has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The OnePlus 9 Pro's camera is very similar to the camera in Asus ZenFone 8, because although the OnePlus 9 Pro has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels and a lower 7680x4320 video definition, and they both have a same size aperture, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor.
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a little longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
