Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ3, with an 83 score against 79.6. Asus ZenFone 8 is a way newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xperia XZ3. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 8 has 11 version and Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Asus ZenFone 8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 8 and Xperia XZ3 both feature extremely similar displays, because although the Xperia XZ3 has much less brightness, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels quantity per inch in the display, a little bit larger screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Asus ZenFone 8 has better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Asus ZenFone 8 takes much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution, a much better video quality, a bigger aperture for better low light photography and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
