Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR, getting a global score of 79.5 against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a a lot heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone AR, but both of them have the same thickness. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a sharper display than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a larger display.
