Comparison review
Asus ZenFone AR has a global score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the LG Q8's general score of 77.2. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it is also somewhat heavier and thicker. The Asus ZenFone AR has a little faster CPU than LG Q8, and although they both have 4 cores, the Asus ZenFone AR also has 2 GB more RAM.
The LG Q8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the LG Q8 also counts with a little bit better pixel density. Asus ZenFone AR takes just a bit better videos and photos than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations and slower video frame rate, and they both have a 0.38 inches camera sensor and the same video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
Asus ZenFone AR counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone AR also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ZenFone AR counts with a bit better battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 3300mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
