The Asus ZenFone AR is slightly better than OnePlus 8 Pro, having a 77.4 score against 77.2. The Asus ZenFone AR is a much older and a little thicker device than the OnePlus 8 Pro, but Asus could make it lighter anyway. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a much better screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution and a larger display.
Asus ZenFone AR has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a better camera than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a way larger sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and videos, a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light situations and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 4510mAh battery size.
