The Asus ZenFone AR is slightly better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting a general score of 77.4 against 75.9. The Asus ZenFone AR is a much older and somewhat thicker phone than the OnePlus 8 UW, but Asus was able to make it a little bit lighter anyway. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit superior CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a higher number of faster cores and more RAM.

The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a superior camera than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also has better 60 fps video frame rates, a much bigger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality, a lot higher resolution camera and a bigger camera aperture.
The Asus ZenFone AR has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone AR also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 UW counts with superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery capacity.
