Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone AR is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), getting a overall score of 77.4 against 75.8. Although the Asus ZenFone AR and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) were only released 7 months apart, Asus ZenFone AR's body is somewhat thicker but also just a little bit lighter. Galaxy A7 (2017)'s CPU is just as good as Asus ZenFone AR's CPU, because although the Galaxy A7 (2017) has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a higher pixel amount per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Asus ZenFone AR has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Asus ZenFone AR takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a lot higher video resolution. Galaxy A7 (2017) features a bit superior battery life than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
